What Is CVEMUN?
CVEMUN introduces students to Model United Nations through a welcoming and supportive environment. The conference helps students build skills in public speaking, self advocacy, critical thinking, teamwork, diplomacy, and debate while exploring global issues and different perspectives. It gives students a fun and engaging opportunity to try something new, build confidence, and develop skills they can carry with them into the future.

Katie Farnan
Secretary General
Katie is a grade 11 student and your Secretary-General this year. When not practicing speeches or stressing about math grades, she enjoys helping her community through Interact Club, playing viola, and spending time with her cat, Batman. She is excited to help introduce new students to Model United Nations and wishes every delegate an amazing experience at CVEMUN.
Ruby O’Sullivan
Chair
Ruby is a grade 12 student and your Chair this year. Outside of MUN, Ruby usually spends her time hanging out with her friends or working. She’s happy to get the next generation interested in real world debate, and help our delegates get started in the world of Model UN.
Zoey Argast
USG of Logistics and Finance, Vice Chair
Zoey is a senior this year and acts as your USG of Logistics and Finance, as well as your Vice Chair the day of the conference. Outside of last minute preparations for MUN, she enjoys making art, baking, and staying active. Although she plans to study architecture, she enjoys discussing world politics and is ready to help encourage new students to do the same.
